چکیده

Results are given for aggregating a system of nonnegative integer equations of the form Xj = bj, je N, to yield a single equivalent equation whose coefficients correspond to those of the best previously known result for the special case b, = 1, jc,V. Different aggregations are obtained for different permutations of the indexes jEIV, according to the sizes of the b, values, and we also identify a permutation that dominates all others, producing smallest coefficients.

On a Conjecture about the Number of Solutions to Linear Diophantine Equations with a Positive Integer Parameter

Let A(n) be a k × s matrix and m(n) be a k dimensional vector, where all entries of A(n) and m(n) are integer-valued polynomials in n. Suppose that t(m(n)|A(n)) = #{x ∈ Z + | A(n)x = m(n)} is finite for each n ∈ N, where Z+ is the set of nonnegative integers. This paper conjectures that t(m(n)|A(n)) is an integer-valued quasi-polynomial in n for n sufficiently large and verifies the conjecture ...

Approximation for Expectations of Unbounded Functions of Dependent Integer-valued Random Variables

Expectations of unbounded functions of dependent nonnegative integer-valued random variables are approximated by the expectations of the functions of independent copies of these random variables. The Lindeberg method is used.

Interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy aggregation methodology for decision making with a prioritization of criteria

Interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IVIFSs), a generalization of fuzzy sets, is characterized by an interval-valued membership function, an interval-valued non-membership function. The objective of this paper is to deal with criteria aggregation problems using IVIFSs where there exists a prioritization relationship over the criteria.Based on the ${L}$ukasiewicz triangular norm, we first p...

Weak Disposability in Integer-Valued Data Envelopment Analysis

Conventional data envelopment analysis (DEA) models normally assume all inputs and outputs are real valued and continuous. However in problems some inputs and outputs can only take integer values, also, both desirable and undesirable outputs can be generated . In this paper the effect of undesirable outputs in integer DEA model is discussed. The proposed model distinguishes weak disposability o...
